Today, we are happily welcoming more than 25,000 participants who have come to Addis Ababa for the 2nd African Climate Summit .
The summit is being held in Addis Ababa from 8 to 10 September 2025 under the theme ‘Advancing Global Climate Solutions, Financing Africa’s Green Development’. In line with the theme of the summit, we have explained to our African brothers and sisters through our participation in the exhibition that Ethiopia is working hard on the activities that will be the climate solution.
Addis Ababa has demonstrated its exemplary role showcasing the true benefits of growing together and doing work that will inspire future generations.
Dear guests of our city, Addis Ababa is your comfortable home. Addis Ababa is the gateway to prosperity. Your coming and our joint consultation is the foundation for the future of the African continent.
I would like to call on residents of our city to continue providing your usual amicable hospitality and great contributions until the conference is over and our guests return to their respective countries.
