ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ ስለ ወዳጅነት ፓርክ ካስተላለፉ መልዐክት፦
“በአዲስ አበባ መሐል የሚገኘው የወዳጅነት ፓርክ ባለፉት ስምንት ዓመታት በመደመር መንግሥት ከተገነቡት የመጀመሪያዎቹ ዘርፈ-ብዙ ጠቀሜታ ያላቸው የሕዝብ መገልገያ ቦታዎች አንዱ ነው። ይህ ፓርክ ባለፉት አራት ዓመታት ብቻ ወደ አንድ ቢሊዮን ብር ገደማ ገቢ ያስገኘ ሲሆን፣ በቀጥታም ሆነ በተዘዋዋሪ የሥራ ዕድሎችንና ኢኮኖሚያዊ ተጠቃሚነትን ፈጥሯል።”
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s message about Friendship Park:
“Friendship Park, located in the heart of Addis Ababa, is one of the first multifunctional public spaces built by the Medemer Government over the past eight years. In the past four years alone, the park has generated close to one billion birr in revenue, while creating employment opportunities and economic benefits both directly and indirectly.”
